Step by Step

  1. Place holder on flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and any flammable materials. Place one Glade® Scented Oil Candle on the center bump.
  2. Light (or re-light) candle by holding flame to wick. Burn each candle until pool of scented wax is completely gone (2 to 3 hours).
  3. After the candle has completely burned and the holder is cool, simply remove the metal clip from its magnetic base, clean, and replace with a new Glade® Scented Oil Candle.

How do Glade® Scented Oil Candles work?
Glade® Scented Oil Candles use a unique candle technology. Each scented wax candle comes with a specially-designed cotton wick and aluminum wick clip that pulls heat from the flame and transfers the heat to the warming plate. The plate, wick and wick clip completely melt the candle into a pool of scented wax. Because a larger pool of wax releases fragrance quickly, Glade® Scented Oil Candles can rapidly fill a whole room with fragrance.
What size room will each Glade® Scented Oil candle fill with fragrance?
Each Glade® Scented Oil Candle covers an average size living room area up to 300 sq. feet.
How long will it take for the candle to melt?
The Glade® Scented Oil Candle will melt in 30-45 minutes. After the flame is extinguished, the pool of wax will return to a solid state when the candle cools.
How does the candle stay attached to the holder?
The Glade® Scented Oil candleholder uses a patented plate-and-magnet combination so that each scented wax candle fits securely, ensuring a consistent burn with each refill. When the wax is gone, the candle goes out.
Can I reuse the wick when the candle has burned out?
No. Each Glade® Scented Oil Candle comes with a new wick. The old aluminum wick clip can be recycled.
How long does each Glade® Scented Oil Candle refill last?
Each Glade® Scented Oil Candle refill will last 2 to 3 hours.
